Tottenham Hotspur have returned to the lucrative Champions League following a two year spell without qualification. Beating their North London rivals Arsenal to the fourth place spot, Tottenham fans from across the world will be tuning in to the draw at 17:00 BST/ 18:00 CET hoping for a “successful” draw. The draw is set to be shown on BT Sport and, in the past has been shown on the BT Sport YouTube Channel. You can find the draw results on this website, or via Instagram on thfc.national or hxtspur.
How does the draw work?
The UEFA Champions League draw splits all 32 teams entering the group stage into “Pots”, listed 1-4. Pot 1 tends to consist of the more established European sides, with Pot 2 taking “the best of the rest”. Below, you can see the full list of teams in each pot. With 4 pots, one team from each pot will be drawn to form a group (labelled A-H).
Who can Tottenham draw?
Tottenham can draw any teams that are not from England or in their pot. As the draw progresses and teams are allocated a group, the teams available to draw will vary. As things stand, Tottenham can draw any “Pot 3” and “Pot 4” side.
